Welcome to East Coast Kitchen (The Larder). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and any orders placed through it. Please read them carefully before using our site or services. By accessing or using the website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Who We Are

This website is owned and operated by East Coast Kitchen (The Larder) Limited,  a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16409182).

2. Our Service

We offer curated larder boxes, pantry essentials, and seasonal edits for online purchase and local delivery. All products are sold subject to availability and may change without notice in response to seasonality and supply.

Our physical location exists to support the online model.

3. Placing an Order

When you place an order, you agree that:

  • All information provided is accurate and complete.

  • You are authorised to use the payment method provided.

  • Your order constitutes an offer to buy the goods listed, not a contract.

  • We reserve the right to accept or reject any order.

Once an order is placed, you’ll receive an email confirmation. The contract between us is only formed when you receive a second email confirming dispatch or collection is ready.

4. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in GBP and are inclusive of VAT (where applicable). Delivery charges will be clearly displayed before you confirm your order.

We accept the following forms of payment: Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay and Google Pay

Prices may change at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

5. Delivery & Collection

We currently offer:

  • Local delivery to selected postcodes (as listed on our Delivery Info page)

  • Collection from The Larder at East Coast Kitchen site during opening hours

We’ll always do our best to get your order to you on time. However, occasionally delays can happen due to circumstances beyond our control. We will communicate any changes as clearly and promptly as possible.

6. Returns & Cancellations

Due to the perishable and seasonal nature of our goods, returns are only accepted where:

  • The product is faulty or damaged

  • We have delivered the wrong item(s)

Please inspect your delivery on arrival and notify us of any issues within 24 hours. If approved, we’ll offer a refund or replacement.

If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. If the order has already been prepared or dispatched, cancellation may not be possible.

7. Use of Our Website

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems

  • Copy or reproduce any part of the website or its content without written permission from The Byford Partnership Ltd

All content — including imagery, product descriptions, and branding — is owned by The Byford Partnership Ltd and protected by copyright and trademark laws.

8. Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

9. Intellectual Property

The name East Coast Kitchen  and all associated content, designs, and trade dress are the intellectual property of East Coast Kitchen (The Larder) Limited and may not be used or reproduced without express permission.

10. Liability

We take great care in sourcing and preparing our products. However, except where required by law, we are not liable for:

  • Any indirect or consequential losses

  • Delays or failures caused by events outside our control

  • Errors in product information caused by third-party suppliers

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time. Changes will take effect once published on the website. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
